Sustainability
Powder coatings are renowned worldwide for being an environmentally sustainable solution.
Powder coating is a solvent-free coating used primarily on metal and other conductive surfaces. It is a solid material packaged in a box. It is applied to the substrate by electrostatic spraying or fluidized bed. After spraying, the temperature is gradually increased (between 110-200°C/225-400°F ) and baked. The powder melts, flows, and then reacts to form a solid coating at the specified temperature.
Since powder coatings were first developed in the 1960s , they have been continuously improved and developed and have now become an important force driving the development of the coatings market.
Due to global concerns about environmental issues, laws encourage companies to find more environmentally friendly coating solutions. Our powder coatings contain no volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and no toxic heavy metals such as lead or chromium (VI) . Continuous innovation has significantly improved important parameters such as ease of use, surface quality and cost efficiency.
